Ann Taylor is my guest this week and I love the perspective she is bringing to our listeners!
Ann is the Owner of A Chair Affair, an event rental company in Orlando and Tampa, FL. She is a businesswoman with a keen sense of what it takes to build a thriving brand and scale quickly!
In this episode, Ann shares how the idea for A Chair Affair started when her daughter was getting married and chivari chairs were a MUST for her! They started researching and realized how ridiculously expensive they were and decided to just buy their own! And then they bought a few more, and a few more, and a few more!
What started out as a fun thing they would do on the weekends has now become one of the largest event rental companies in the area and their entry into the market completely changed the access that wedding clients had to these beautiful chairs!
A Chair Affair is now so much more than just chairs boasting over 30,000 square feet of warehouse space on 2 levels. They have a team of over 30 employees seasonally and will soon be launching their very own rental and inventory management software called ROB Genius…you’ll have to listen to the episode to hear how they came up with that name!
