This week we’re switching things up a bit and playing for you a live presentation I gave at the Perfect Wedding Pros luncheon in Orlando recently. The topic I was asked to present was New Year, New You and as I pondered that topic I couldn’t help but think…I don’t want to just talk about making things shiny THIS year. 2020 is the start of a whole new decade. I have to really cast vision for what the next 10 years could look like because we all know that as entrepreneurs we can sometimes get caught up in just keeping all the balls in the air on the day to day….doing all the things! But I knew I was being given a golden opportunity to help us all to see past today, next month and even next year. What would our lives look like in the year 2030??

This presentation focuses on defining success at the core of who you are…because success is different for each of us. For me, success isn’t about wealth or fame. Success for me is defined in the freedom I have to create my own schedule, design my own life and to be where I want to be when I want to be there. It’s not being tied to a location to do my job and definitely not to a day of the week.

But that lifestyle doesn’t just happen. We all have to work and I WANT to work hard! What Ira and I have learned over the last 2 years of business is that if we aren’t aligning all of our short term objectives with our long term vision, our goal with be nothing more than a dream.
