Today we are diving deep into Cayla Cummings success story within the wedding industry. Cayla is a Texas-based luxury wedding photographer and videographer. Cayla has built a thriving multiple six-figure wedding business and shares with us what it’s been like to do so! Let’s get into it!

Carhartt Photography, co-run by Cayla and her husband David, is based in Austin, Texas but they have extended their services to Houston and Dallas, covering over 50 weddings a year. Cayla’s photography journey began in 2016, but the addition of videography in 2019, led by David, marked a significant turning point. This expansion not only allowed them to offer different their but also set them on a path of rapid growth.

In 2021, Cayla introduced an associate program, which allowed her to build a team an take some of the load off her shoulders. This move wasn’t easy, because it meant overcoming the fear of handing over her ‘baby’ to someone else and a lot of us know that feeling all too well! Today, she has created an amazing team that drives her business to the success she’s worked so hard for.

Cayla’s decision to join our Accelerator Program, and later the Next Level Mastermind, was a game-changer. It was a step taken to really focus on the financial health of her business. She also, talks about how important the accountability and structure of the accelerator is which helped her in transitioning to an S-Corp, organizing finances, and setting up separate bank accounts – all within a really short time.
