  1. Show up.
    Yeah…I know that sounds silly but let’s do a gut check. When was the last time you posted YOUR face on social media? Or posted on social media at all??

    Showing up is 80% of the battle and it’s amazing how often we get so stuck in the trenches creating the thing we want people to buy that we don’t take the time to show up so they even know we’re there!

    So here’s my challenge: Post 3 times to your social media this week (on the platforms where your clients actually hang out!) and be sure that at least 1 of your posts include your face!

  2. Cast a vision.
    It’s important to have an end goal in mind or you can get lost along the way.

    What do you want your life to look like in 10 years? What will your time commitments be? How much money will you make? Will you have a team? Will your spouse work with you?

    Knowing where you’re going will help you to make as many correct turns as possible as you travel the journey of entrepreneurship and growth!

  3. Set goals.
    Once you know your vision, set goals along the way.

    Setting clear goals along the way will help you to have small wins for maximum momentum keeping you on track for the growth you want to achieve!

  4. Build relationships.
    I cannot say enough about how important it is to build relationships and get in community with other entrepreneurs!

    This world of owning your own business can be lonely. It’s easy to feel like you’re on an island trying to find your way off all by yourself (do ya feel me Wilson??).

    Not only can your tribe build you up but they can help you to build your business by sending you referrals and introducing you to others who may be a great fit for your business!

  5. Invest in your education.
    Why oh why are we all out here trying to re-create the wheel?

    So many have gone before us and the world of online education is abundant with coaches, speakers, conferences, masterminds, courses and retreats ready to help you skip the hurdles and head straight to the finish line!

    When you’re first starting out, it can be scary to spend your hard earned $$ on education because you have your eye on that prize of leaving the 9-5. I get it!

    But if there’s anything I would attribute the success of our businesses to, it’s the investments we’ve made in learning from others that have gone before us!!
