An Interview with Wendy Goelz Kopasz

Wendy Goelz Kopasa is the co-owner of Soundwave Entertainment. She has a big personality and a big heart and she knows her way around the business world! Wendy and her husband Les have built one of the largest and most well-respected event DJ firms in Central Florida and they are celebrating 19 years in business!!

In this episode you’ll hear how they started Soundwave….the beginning years when they had to be scrappy, work their side hustles and put in the long long days of balancing 9-5, balancing a family and building their dreams.

My favorite part of this interview is when Wendy shares how in the beginning of their business they really took any business that came their way (as most small businesses do when they’re starting out). But as they got busier and started to shell out a niche, they had to make the tough decision to turn down business that was no longer in their target demographic to really focus on building their brand and meeting their ideal clients needs.
