I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle” right?
But have you ever really thought about what that saying means??
So often, we look up to the people who seemingly already have it all figured out. They look like they never have a bad day, they have plenty of money and they never have to scramble for sales, and they have a team of people to do all of the mundane things for them!
But what did it take to get there? Years of blood, sweat and tears. Long nights, days running from one fire to the next and hours spent crying in frustration.
What you don’t see is the back story. You don’t see everything that entrepreneur put into the last 3, 5 or 10 years to get to where they are today.
What you see is the well sanded version. The version that is smoother than the fresh cut wood but not quite a masterpiece yet.
So when you’re still fresh cut and you feel like the sand paper is hitting you extra hard today just remember, the best masterpieces are created over time!
