Have you ever thought to yourself “what the heck should my Instagram look like?”
Maybe you’ve dabbled into organic strategies here and there, but there is so much information out there, you don’t even know where to start…
If this sounds familiar, we get it. On today’s show, my guest, Nina Addeo from I Do Wedding Marketing is talking all about organic Instagram marketing strategies. If you have been around long enough, you know I LOVE talking about Instagram and how to grow your business through Instagram.
The best part is that you’ll be able to implement these strategies easily and quickly into your business and start to grow that profitable business.
Whether you are just starting your business and or you’re a seasoned entrepreneur, this episode will help you understand organic strategies for social media so you can kill your social media game!
You want to get 9 good examples of your work on your profile. Just get nine good photos up or they can be videos, whatever it is. Don’t stress too much about archiving just make sure that your most recent 9 posts are your best photos because Instagram starts to become your word of mouth.
So you just have to think: When someone goes on your profile, what do you want them to see?
If you have a really awesome feature or even if you had a celebrity wedding you did or something really high profile like that, its super fun to pin. But other than that, most people scroll right past the pinned posts and go straight to the most recents.
Having an introduction post to introduce your company is also a super fun way to let people know who you are and to showcase your recent work!
Overall, you just want to focus on the first 9 squares of your Instagram and make sure they look AMAZING!
Use my Makeover My Instagram Profile Workbook to make sure you Instagram bio is optimized.
Interact with your local audience! Something that always works for Nina is looking up the local romantic restaurants. She’ll make a list of the ones that couples go to and interact with the most recent posts. You can leave a really non invasive, genuine comment saying “congratulations”, “what a beautiful proposal”, even if it wasn’t a proposal but you can tell this is a couple on a romantic night. Or maybe just liking a few posts! This is a great place to start conversation.
As you get streamlined with it, you should make a spreadsheet that will help you meet new clients near you! This will help with networking and new leads! Learn more about this by listening to the full epsiode!
Ultimately, social media can seem overwhelming but it doesn’t’ have to be! It does not have to be perfect, but you can use these strategies to elevate your Instagram for engagement season!
